Bev has held senior management positions across a number of industries including the financial sector. Her responsibilities have been extensive including the management of an internationally based education program, leading brand and PR initiatives and management of considerable fund raising projects.
She is one of only a few New Zealanders to complete a PHD in the governance arena. Her doctoral thesis entitled Corporate Governance: Determinants of Effective Decision-making - is one of the first doctoral thesis to examine behaviour in the boardroom and has practical application to her work with boards.
In recent years Bev has been involved in establishing a number of trusts and boards, assessing the effectiveness of boards, and has served as a director/trustee on other boards. She currently chairs DANZ (Dance Aotearoa New Zealand) and is a deputy Chair of the Bay of Plenty’s IoD.
In addition Bev has worked with Maori-based organisations with an innovative or growth objective. She also facilities Massey University’s MBA Governance Module and sat on its DBA review team.

Nick has had over 25 years’ experience as a senior financial and operations manager in both the manufacturing and social services sectors. During that period Nick has spent over 10 years as an Executive Director of the Interlock Group of companies, an exporting manufacturing business which was well-known for both its quality and innovative products and management practices. More recently he has worked for Presbyterian Support Services as its General Manager of Elderly Care.
Nick has also been a member and chaired a number of not-for-profit, Maori and SME boards. He is an IoD and NZICA presenter and facilitates NZICA’s post degree program and conducts educational programs for corporates, SOEs and government department in governance related topics such as Finance, Accounting and Ethical behaviour.
